Enderby Thrive Manager: Amanda Harvey
Amanda enjoys painting, reading, and cuddling with her puppies! Her favourite food is poutine and London Fogs. Her colour of choice is lime green. Amanda enjoys loving life and embracing each new day with excitement! She also enjoys getting to know the kids and staff at Thrive. She loves getting to play outside with the kids!
Amanda is a huge animal lover and has dogs of her own that go everywhere with her! She also loves frogs! She is also a First Nations Band member.
Amanda has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Lethbridge. She has also coached a variety of sports and has over 10 years experience with the Special Olympics.
Enderby Thrive Staff: Brandy Vandermeulen
Brandy has a heart set on helping others grow, learn, and explore. She loves getting others excited about nature, exercise, and their creator. Brandy never turns down an opportunity to be silly or play any sort of game.
For 6 seasons, Brandy has served at Gardom Lake Bible Camp. She also holds a Certificate of Christian Discipleship from Rocky Mountain College that she is currently expanding into a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership Development.
Brandy enjoys illustration, painting, the outdoors (especially hiking and swimming), and learning. If she could eat one food for the rest of her life it would be tacos. Brandy has a special fascination with plants (flowers in particular) and loves to draw them as well as discover the science behind how they work.
James is our personal lifeguard and first aid attendant at Thrive. Lots of his time is spent in the water swimming, waterskiing and wakeboarding. He is also a snowboarder and loves to spend his time outdoors.
Music is a big part of James’ life. He has been playing piano for eleven years and can also play a few other instruments such as the Trumpet and Saxophone.
James is heavily involved in his church, spending a lot of time volunteering with the various children's programs they have. He also worked at an orphanage in Mexico for three months. James is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of British Columbia.
Kaitlyn avison enjoys being active in sports and enjoys cleaning. Her favourite food is pomegranate and her favourite colour is yellow! Her favourite activity at Thrive is playing with the kids at the beach.
Her experience babysitting has made her a great addition to Thrive. She enjoys working a Thrive because she loves being around kids and is always keeping busy!
After high school she plans to go to college and become a nurse.
